When you first arrive at Jubilee Hall, tell the staff at the welcome desk that you are here for the Dyspraxic Me spin class. They will ask you to sign a register.

Jess, Dan or other Dyspraxic Me volunteers might either be waiting for you at reception or in the spin room.

The welcome area of the gym is very bright.

The changing rooms are at the other end of the gym, directly in front of you as you go through the gates. You will walk past people exercising and using other gym equipment.

The gym is smaller than our previous space at the YMCA Club.

Here are a couple of photos of the spin room. It’s in a private space directly behind the welcome desk. It is dark, the photos are with the lights on as bright as they can go. There are speakers to play music and the screen shows images.

You are welcome to take a break. You are welcome to leave the gym and re enter if you need to. The gym is small. There is no quiet space but there are changing rooms and the reception area.

There are changing rooms with toilets and showers. There are two cubicles for changing and many shower cubicles. There are also benches for changing.

Lockers use a £1 coin, and towels are available to hire at £1.50

Here is a photo of trustee Dan, Jess founder of Dyspraxic Me and Phillie our spin instructor.

Phillie is a trained spin instructor. Phillie is friendly and has an interest in supporting community groups with their fitness. The fitness class is for dyspraxic people to feel confident to exercise in a safe environment.

You are welcome to email Dyspraxic Me if you have any questions about the spin classes.
